This is a website dedicated to all fake gurus, Swamis and spiritual leaders throughout the world.
We will tell how they empty the pockets of their followers and devotees who give freely after hearing lies and promises of enlightenment and success.
We will report about their sex scandals, about child abuse and molesting of women, about disrespecting feelings of trust and the various ways how they enrich themselves.
And finally we will offer support to those who have lost their trust in religion or spirituality through the actions of such a person, cult or organization.
You can look forward to topics such as
- Sects and Cults throughout the world: how people get attracted and how sects lose their members
- India's most famous Godmen exposed: prostitution business, cheap tricks, selling enlightenment
- Magic Tricks - how fake gurus become Gods in the eyes of their disciples

We want to invite all former disciples of the many fake gurus around the world to contribute with their comments and experiences. We will love to hear and share in which way millions of people are cheated.
We also invite present disciples to join the discussion as it will make it more interesting.
And finally we want to invite every spiritual seeker to have a look on this page before deciding to follow a guru and spending their last penny trying to buy enlightenment.
We want to make you aware that you should follow your own heart, not someone else’s rules. We all are equal, some of us may have more experience but we are all just human. We all make mistakes, nobody is perfect but unfortunately not everyone is honest. So we are urging you to trust yourself and in your own heart!
Your thoughts and contributions are already welcome in our forum. If you would like to see a category that doesn't exist yet or have any suggestion for improvement, please do not hesitate to contact us.
One Week of Fake-Guru.com
This is the first update one week after launching this forum. We are happy that many people signed up and we see that many more are reading the posts and threads with interest.
We also receive many emails, with positive as well as negative reactions.
Many appreciate that this platform exists so that they can share their experience, their thoughts and ideas about this. Everyone should have the freedom to do so. Obviously in this spiritual scene there is corruption hurting the image of different religions and the feelings of innocent people. We want to reduce this and make people aware of it so that they do not have to make this experience. Scams and cheaters have to be made public so that people can transparently see who they are giving money to or whose instructions they are following. We do not appreciate the system of worshipping a human person as God.
Of course we also got negative answers mostly from people who are devoted followers to some guru or master. Obviously they do not even like the name of our page and turn away from us very quickly, before they can even realize that it might be good for them to read a bit in our forum.
We also received anonymous mails trying to make us afraid of lawsuits or asking us how we will prove that the statements given on this page are truthful or not. People might post statements just defaming their competition.
In reply to this we need to say that this is an open forum and everybody has the freedom to post their thoughts. A post of a user will be ‘in their opinion’ and it is obviously not possible for us to judge on the amount of truth that is in these posts. As is stated in the site’s disclaimer, the site administration is not responsible for users’ posts and statements.
Personally we believe the spiritual world should be without competition. It is not a commercial question and we just want to ask why religion, spirituality and talking about God have become commercial? Competition has no place in spirituality. Spirituality is being honest and in love.
And we want to expose those who show themselves spiritual to the world but are not at all honest or in love. Extracting money from followers and enriching themselves while teaching others to be detached from material. Preaching celibacy while abusing women or children. When big spiritual (commercial) organizations offer their miracles to the world on the internet, why should there not be a forum where people can openly and freely express their thoughts about it?
Well, it is obvious, if you start a forum like this, there will be controversy, some people will like what you do, others will not. That is just the normal way of life. We are not against any particular person or organization and it is not our aim to defame anybody. We will stick to facts and sources like newspapers and other media and will try to build a platform where information from all these sources comes together and where people can then discuss about it.
We are looking forward to months and years of fruitful discussions – and hope that the amount of cheating and abuse will reduce just as the amount of awareness will increase.
