List of Threats made by Gurus to Disciples

I would like to create this kind of list of funny, terrifying, strange and sad things that followers were said that would happen to them if they don't follow the guru's orders or rules.
When talking to former followers of various Swamis I heard the following:

    If you don't follow what I say / leave me / ...
    - you will have bad luck for the rest of your life
    - someone in your family will be bitten by a snake
    - your daughter will never get married
    - you will have a big loss in your business
    - you will have thieves in your home within the next 15 days
    - you will get cancer

    please share your experiences

Well, on my false guru website, where I share my pain about Swami Maheshwarananda with the whole world, I have included an e-mail that was sent to me by a long-term disciple of Swamiji. Here it is: Dear Elisabeth
It seems that you are right. Nobody will let you come here because of what you wrote. I was given a copy as soon as I returned. By writing such things you have caused yourself terrible karmas. You cannot hurt Swamiji because he is part of the absolute. Fire cannot burn, knives cannot cut, etc. What you are doing actually is stopping people having a chance to be helped by him and so you are hurting all those people. Anybody who reads your blog is hurt and by the law of karma you will suffer - life after life. I really am glad I am not you. Swamiji has helped you in many ways and you throw that aside and in your vindictive glory write such things
    It's on my site: http://http://sites.google.com/site/.../i-am-banished

    Swamiji also said:
    - if you jump out of the boat, before the ferry man will get you across (meaning himself as the Guru, getting you across Maya and towards liberation), then the sharks will get you.
    - if you leave, you will be lost again, floating in the universe, life after life, with much pain and sorrow
    - you will be born as a working donkey/mule in your next life, and your owner will pack you up with a real heave load and have no mercy on you

When I finally decided to leave Swamiji, October 2009 I was very upset, traumatized, lost and had fears of bad luck befalling me or lightening striking me. After more than a year now, I am still in limbo, in no-men's land with no joy in my life, loss of motivation and complete lack of understanding why God would allow such men to have such siddhis. I made the biggest mistake assuming that because Swamiji had the Siddhi of knowing everthing about me, that he must be in constant communion with God. BIG MISTAKE. But I'm happy to say that my life has actually improved in relation to accommocation and finances: I'm in a much better material position now then when I left Swamiji for good more than a year ago. Which is kind of reassuring.

Take pleasantly their blessings (threats) and thank them. Everything good/bad happens according to our Karma. If you are true to your soul, nothing bad happens. Whatever happens for the betterment only.
"They are the great, truly they're the great,
On His lotus feet, who concentrate.
    Though they are illiterate
    Them I cannot rate
    'Cause they are always great.
So, at their lotus feet, I myself prostrate."
