Dos and Don'ts for Gods on Earth

Some Gurus claim to be God - you will find quite a few people like that if you just go looking for it.
It must be really difficult to be an incarnation of God, just imagine all the things that you would need to do and the expectations that people would have.

    You would have to
    - heal even fatal diseases
    - do miracles (let it rain, levitate, materialize something...)
    - be celibate (would God on earth be 'beyond worldly desires'?)
    - have no attachment to material
    - love everyone in the same way, no matter who it is
    - tell the future and maybe predict the end of the world
    - be divine!

And I am sure this list would not include things like sex escapades, thrones and jewlery, throwing things at disciples in anger, charging a fortune for the right to wash your feet, charging even more for other rights like building a temple for you, etc.

Together with you I would like to continue this list of things that God on earth would or would not do.

They would have to avoid writing confusing books and I mean this seriously, have you been reading books from Gurus and spiritual masters? They're pretty confusing and contradictory, I should have started reading them before I started my yoga practices, wich seem nowadays insulting to me, they speak of it as science, the true God directs our lives, and in this life, after much searching I've come trhough a book that actually made sense and it didn't mix things up, I think Swami is going to like the idea of the book because it goes like this: Put yourself at peace with your previous sins, instrospect them, but leave them behind, you start a new relationship with contemplation, one in wich all is forgotten and there is just you, God and your shared love. The book is called The cloud of Unknowing, is written by an anonymous monk and has given me more truth than all the mumbo jumbo I've been told during my search.

What else would God want but love from His creature? I feel very dumb now after having been told: no it's a science. How could love be a science?

Without much more, we should also add to the list humility. In all seriousness why would the all loving God would have such grandeurs, tv programs, DVDs, magazines, books, speeches, websites, etc?

If you have expectation from anyone , or GURU for that matter, they are bound to get broken someday or the other because that person is different from you..In LOVE there should be no expectations -- this is true love..This is the ideal which all GURUS want us to imbibe but is it possible ? to give and expect nothing in return..or we are expecting anything spiritual ? so what is the price you are willing to pay for it...that GURUS will decide..

Discarded my old fb account, posting in a new one.

Where does the idea of expectations come from? Christian saints knew that there was a lot expected of them, and they expected a lot, in prayer we expect a lot or it wont happen, in fact, ideally in prayer you will have to believe and act as if you already had received what you asked for! Don't fool yourself, you have to give your all wich is what I aim to, and you will receive all.
