I did a level 1 reiki course with her as well and had a similar experience. She should not be teaching reiki and I definitely would not recommend anyone to do any reiki courses with her.

I sent her an email telling her that I wasn't happy with the course and she suggested that I do level 2 and try to heal myself!

Stay away from her!

Hello every body. My name is Andy and I know Zhanna for many years. Ten years ago I had Cancer and She did spiritual healing for me in Russia, after 1 months I get clear and Cancer never come back !!! She is doing Miracle healing work in Russia and UK for people and I know many friends who get heal from Cancer by Zhanna and She safe so many people life's. She give me my life back. She had teach and heal thousand students around the world, and very often doing Her healing for free. She is fantastic Spiritual Master and God Bless Her. I finish my Reiki Level 2 with Her and Her Reiki Attuments work 100%. And most of the time Reiki healing start work only after Level 2 and when you practise a lot. All my family did Reiki courses with Zhanna and We are all very happy. She always support all her students after courses and continuing help and guide. She is Channel from God. And I think She is right and She knows better then every body else when She teach Reiki or heal.

I have also been a very happy student of Zhanna Fomochkina's and have become a Reiki Master Teacher thanks to her fantastic teaching.
When learning a completely new subject, we naturally are required to listen for long periods of time and this may be difficult for some people. I found her teaching inspiring, illuminating and, ultimately, life-altering. Her attunements were exceptionally powerful and have enabled me to bring amazing change, joy and relief into others' lives. The students I have now trained as a result of her teaching have had overwhelmingly positive experiences and have gone on to bring wonderful change, joy and relief into their lives and the lives of their friends and family - and so it goes on.
I can also verify that Zhanna does a lot of her work for free and I know that she works extensively with cancer patients and has achieved amazing results with her work. Her lineage is easily verifiable and has only a short series of steps directly back to Dr Mikao Usui. She is indeed a member of the Reiki Healers and Teachers Society, which is the main regulatory body for Reiki healers in this country. As a member, she is also fully and professionally insured by Balens.
The attunement process is complex and intricate, requiring many steps to be completed in a certain order to be accomplished correctly. It does not surprise me in the least that Zhanna keeps notes beside her as she attunes - I do too. I would much rather consult my notes and have the process be correct, than attempt to memorise it and risk getting it wrong.
She does incorporate a lot of the Law of Attraction into her work - this is because firstly, Reiki works very much hand in hand with this philosophy (in fact it is almost another way of describing this philosophy) and secondly, because Zhanna has two lineages, Western and Japanese, and her students are able to benefit from both influences. I suspect that this is probably what she was trying to explain to you?
You say that you are sure her site is plagiarized, but offer no explanation or proof. You say that she is a fraud and a fake, but really you just didn't like her teaching style. Well, that's absolutely valid, you can't please all of the people all of the time, but to attack her credibility is a terrible thing to do without any evidence other than your own experience and perhaps that of your friend. If all of Zhanna's clients were to read this post I am sure that you would find an overwhelming majority who would be appalled at this question of her professionalism, or the idea that she was anything other than 100% genuine.
Empirically, as a student of a new subject, you are not in a position to question the content of your training - and I am fully aware that there are money-grubbing fraudsters out there who exploit this fact. Zhanna, however, is decidedly not one of these. If you truly do believe in the Law of Attraction, then perhaps you might review your post and its overwhelmingly negative and (I'm afraid I have to say) spiteful tone. The Law of Attraction states that you make your own experiences. Please understand that when you post to this kind of forum, where people sit at home burning with their private sense of 'the injustice of the world', that you are messing with someone's career. It's genuinely such a shame that you didn't get from Zhanna's training what you wanted - but to go on to attempt to discredit her is not the way.
In short, Zhanna is not a 'fake guru', but a fantastic Reiki Master Teacher. I genuinely hope that you find what you are really looking for and find some relief from this issue.

Hi everyone!
It was back in December 2009, when I went to Portugal to visit my family and friends that a very wise friend of mine asked me to consider doing a Reiki course.
I was sceptical of doing it in the UK because I did not know anyone related with spirituality but my life is in the UK and I did not have the time to do it there...
In January 2010 I have searched for some names of Reiki Master Teachers and called my wise friend saying that I have found out some names but he told to continue looking. Few days later I told him that I have found another Reiki Master - Zhanna - and he told me to have my course with her.
I loved the two days I have spent with Zhanna and I am very grateful for all she has done and continues to do for me! She is a very friendly and supportive person, explained me all I had to know about Reiki and told me about Law of Attraction as a mean to achieve a better feeling thought and to create a better life for yourself (not to control other people)!
Also gave me the Christopher Howard ticket to the show warning me that what the show is about but ADVISED ME they are there to sell courses but she ADVISED me again NOT to buy any of the courses but to take the best I could from what I could learn there.
After a week or so after the course Zhanna called me to go to her place to help me get rid of some emotional negative energy I kept form my previous relationship and guess what.... Not only helped me effectively but DID NOT CHARGE ME A PENNY! And believe me that at the time was really important for me to do it.
Since “day 1” I have been in contact with Zhanna by email and she ALWAYS replies and clarifies and helps!
Doing a Reiki course implies to take your personal development/journey in your own hands, not place it in the Reiki Master hands... Before going into the Reiki course I have read many books and watched many videos about what Reiki is, how it works, etc... And after the course Zhanna told me about many videos to watch and learn more about reiki, energy, law of attraction, etc...
I do a Reiki treatment everyday on myself and I have been changing as a person and my life has been changing as well... for the better!
I am much appreciated that I have done the Reiki course with Zhanna and when doing level 3 I am hoping to do it with her.

let me tell you something about Zhanna,
SHE DOES NOT ALWAYS ACT IN A PERFECT WAY, BUT NEITHER DOES ANYONE ELSE, not even the most ascended "masters". One thing i can definately tell you about Zhanna is that she is far along the path of awakening to the universal energy that is within her and part of her. She is a vessel for the expression of the eternal. She is a seeker of truth, and aims to grow in the path of oneness and love day by day. she is a woman who has much to impart , and has access to wisdom that has helped many people on their path to self realisation, and has much to offer many more. Now this by no means means, like i said to start with, that she acts perfectly, and i dont know if her correspondance with rayseeker was or wasnt 100percent appropriate, but that by no means sheds doubt on the entirety of her role as a reiki master. I encourage everyone who reads any negetive posts about any guru, not to trust this on sight, the inner master within you is your only infallible deserner of the truth. This is why i am more then confident that anyone who is meant to be helped by Zhanna, and i know there are many, will have guidance from the greatest source of her genuineness. I learnt reiki level one and two from Zhanna, which she was lead to teach me for free by the way, and it brings a smile to my face to think that anyone believes that they can disrupt the path of Zhanna to spread the light, as they are actually competing with the entire universe. And i speak to Zhanna directly now, i know you have no fear of any negetive posts, as the greater source of everything speaks for you. And i also encourage the hundreds of people that have been healed by Zhanna to post on this page, as i would hate anyone who is meant to be healed by this special lady to miss out because of reading a negetive post.
And rayseeker, i would like to say to you from my heart, i am trully sorry if you had a negetive experience, the bridges of understanding where seemingly just not there for you and Zhanna. I know this can easily bring judgement of the teacher, however i assure you she is not a fake, and did impart many good things to you, as im sure you know, vocalisation is only a small part of communication. I hope no negetivity has entered your outlook, look inside and ask your greater self for truth, not for Zhannas sake, but for yours, to benefit from the positive things she imparted to you. What have you got to loose, you might be surprised at what you might find.

Zhanna is not a fraud. I did her course (Reiki level 1 and 2) and definately her attunements work!!! I'm currently giving Reiki to people and all of my clients have noticed the result. I have also noticed the result in myself. Maybe, if you received the attunements for level 1 you could give some Reiki to your self and see if it works.

Since you believe in the Law of Attraction I can only say you have attracted this experience to yourself for an specific reason (so has Zhanna). I can only say look within you to find why you felt that way with her and also in which way is she mirrowing your experience.

Reiki Masters are not enlightened people, they are on their learning path like all of us, and all learning paths are different. Maybe you expected to find someone completly different and maybe those expectations lead you to dissapointment. Zhanna is very chatty and passionate about the the Law of atracttion and this fact may affect her teaching style. Particularly with Reiki intuition plays a massive part, letting your self be driven by the universal energy is very important, trusting this energy is your core starting point. Because of this I dont think you need a massively orderly and structure class.

Personally I think in order to learn anything new you need to let your expectations go and be an empty vassle that can be filled with information. If you arrived to the course thinking you knew how it should be imparted and how it should be taught you definately weren't ready to learn.... your glass was already full with preconceived ideas.

Zhanna's teaching and her method didn't resonate with you, which is fine and not a tragedy. Trying to ruin her reputation doens't look to me as a very balanced aproach to a situation you have attracted yourself. Maybe looking inside you can give you a better answer as to why all this is happening to you.

I am quite shocked to see what is written about Zhanna by Rayseeker. Your name suggests that you are a seeker... A seeker is one who seeks the truth within not without. Am sorry you have had such an experience.. perhaps you need to look inwards and find out what is this movement in you that wishes to write such hurtful untruths about another.. If one is on the path one would not do this.. As one knows that we are all pure souls, and to malign any soul is sacrilege..what goes round comes around... Back at us.
We are all born with imperfection, just because one is a master at something it doesn't mean that we are flawless..
However the challenge is to look beyond the flaws and see the beauty..

I have known Zhanna for many years now she is a light worker, she taught me all three levels of Reiki, and I now teach Reiki in India.
I am so grateful and proud that she was my Master. She has given me an invaluable gift.I have seen her grow and evolve over the years. She has always been kind and helpful whenever I have felt stuck or needed guidance.

Just because we do not understand something because we have no experience of it, it doesn't mean that it does not exist.
Like Reiki for instance, may sound like mumbo jumbo to some but once one feels the energy it is undeniable is it not?
It is the same with angels and the law of attraction. Every Master brings their own knowledge to the teaching.. that is why no to Masters teach the same.

I feel great compassion for you Rayseeker, perhaps you need to look within and find out what is this movement in you that is only focusing on the negative.. If one is looking for the negative one will see it! Each one of us is responsible to do our inner work. One has to ask oneself why one has had this experience and what is it that one has to learn? The answer lies in that search.

From time immemorial one sees that gurus are first put on the pedestal and then knocked down by people. This is our human weakness. Even the Buddha or Christ was not spared. One has to look at the teachings not the flaws of the person. If there is truth in the teaching, it will shine!

I urge all seekers on the path to refrain from indulging in such activities as it is highly destructive for the person.

Hi everyone,

I did Reiki 1 and 2 with Zhanna and it was a very interesting and inspiring training. Yes, she speaks a lot and that is her style, you just have to become better at interrupting her.

After the training she has been very helpful and always got back to me when I have had a question, we also met up a few times to make sure I was on the right track with my Reiki.

She is a wise woman and I believe most people would love to meet a person as her.
